The U.S. Embassy in Belize plans to solicit health and life insurance coverage for its Locally Employed Staff in Belmopan, Belize. The estimated covered population is 129 employees: 24 single-only, 22 self-plus-one, and 83 requiring a family plan. The contract is expected to be firm fixed-price with a base year and four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. The solicitation is not yet ready and will be launched on SAM.gov when available; a pre-proposal conference is planned, with its date to be included in the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in SAM at proposal submission, electronic responses are allowed under size limits, and the opportunity is subject to FAR 52.229-12.
