The requirement is for providing Health and Life Insurance to Locally Employed Staff of the U.S. Embassy of Nassau, The Bahamas. The anticipated performance period is for one base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an Idefinite Delivery/Requirement type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
