The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to purchase of a new utility vehicle for the American Embassy Brussels, Belgium. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Embassy located in Brussels, Belgium intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for one utility vehicle. This solicitation is not a small business set-aside. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ). Full description, scope of work and additional documents can be found in the attachements. The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price, technically acceptable. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussion, although we may hold discussion with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
