The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the identified elevators, providing services that include but are not limited to: Monthly inspections and preventive maintenance of traction and winding drum elevators. 24/7 emergency response and minor adjustments. Predictive maintenance services for select USG residences. Annual no-load testing and 5-year load testing, as required by local codes. Each offeror will be responsible for determining the amount of labor and materials that will be required to complete the project, and for pricing its proposal accordingly. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submission of quotations/proposals. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 2MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 2MB each. The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement for the annual maintenance of 6 KONE elevators at US Embassy office buildings and residences. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion but may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract with options years. The Government is not planning a site visit.
