The U.S. TriMissions Vienna will launch the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available. The contractor shall perform transportation services of Government-owned furniture, appliances, goods and equipment from and to the Tri Missions’ Warehouse in 1190 Vienna and various Government-owned and/or –leased residences and office locations within Vienna. The Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity type contract will be for one base year and two option years, if exercised by the Government. Anticipated starting date is July 1, 2021. The Scope of Work includes an estimated number of 12,000 cubic meters and 300 truck rental hours per contract year. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror, who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database at https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
