Dear Prospective Offeror: Subject: Request for Quotation Number 19AS2021Q0033 The U.S. Embassy Canberra invites you to submit a quotation for Travel Management Services. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. Quotations are due by August 23, 2021. Time 4:00 PM AEST The Embassy intends to conduct a virtual pre-quotation conference and all prospective quoters who have received a solicitation package are invited to attend. See Section 3 of the attached Request for Quotations (RFQ). Written proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal Enclosed TMC- 19AS2021Q0033" on or before 4:00 PM AEST on August 23, 2021. No written proposals will be accepted after this time. All contractors have to be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.204- 7. The Embassy of the United States in Canberra, Australia will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. This solicitation is for Travel Management Services for official domestic and international travel of Government employees and their dependents. Domestic and international travel includes travel located at the Embassy Canberra, ACT; the U.S. Consulates General in Perth, Western Australia; Sydney, NSW; and Melbourne, VIC; and at Mission Papua New Guinea at the U.S. Embassy in Port Moresby, Mission New Zealand (incorporating Samoa) at the U.S. Embassy Wellington, Mission Fiji at the U.S. Embassy in Suva and travel outside those countries, including travel within the U.S and other countries. The anticipated performance period is for one base year, with two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The contract type is a requirement type contract for all travel management services required by the agencies.
