Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
Notice ID:19AQMM26R0250

This INL initiative supports Mexican forensic laboratories by providing specialized IT equipment, training, and accreditation assistance to enhance genetic evidence analysis and data-driven investigations. It represents the third and final phase of the U.S.-Mexico National Genetics Database / CODIS project, following earlier equipment deliveries in 2020 and 2023. Under this phase, INL will donate forensic equipment to eight Mexican state Attorney General Offices, expanding coverage to 29 of Mexico’s 32 states once completed. The work strengthens collaboration among investigators, analysts, and prosecutors, and aims to improve homicide resolution and disrupt transnational criminal networks. Performance will take place in Mexico, targeting the eight specified state Attorney General offices.
