Property Description: The United States Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, is located at Aleje Ujazdowski 29/31 in central Warsaw on a 2.68-acre site. The subject buildings of this project are the Chancery, the Piekna Annex, and the off-site Warehouse located at Bokserska 66A. The Chancery, purpose built and constructed in 1963, is a five-story 94,197 square foot tower on a one-story base and basement in the modernist style of the era. The three-story 46,285 square foot Piekna Annex was originally built as housing in 1968 and later converted to office use. Project Scope: The CSU project is planned to provide physical security upgrades to Chancery and Annex buildings, including High-Definition Video System (HDVS) and Compound Emergency Sanctuary (CES) at off-site Warehouse. The scope includes Physical Security Upgrade at the Compound Perimeter, Physical Security Upgrade at the Consular Compound Access Control (CCAC), New Main Compound Access Control (MCAC), Anti-Climb Upgrade at the Chancery Entry Canopy, FE grills at the Annex Building and Chancery, New Safe Area at the Chancery Building, New Safe Area at the Annex Building, New High-Definition Video System (HDVS), and New Compound Emergency Sanctuary (CES) at the off-site Warehouse. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all permits (such as utility, zoning, construction, occupancy) licenses, and permissions. This is a Design-Build contract. The awarded contractor shall be provided with bridging documents that the contractor shall develop to 100% final design.
