The Secretary’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion (S/ODI)'s mission statement is to advance national security by building a more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible State Department. In support of this mission, S/ODI will be conducting a climate survey to establish a quantitative assessment of employee views on the current level of inclusion, direct experiences with harassment, discrimination, and bullying, employee engagement, perceptions of reprisal and the degree of fairness, transparency, and equity in Department processes such as evaluations, promotions, hiring, and assignments, and possible barriers to professional advancement.
