This pre-solicitation notice provides notice of the Government's intent to issue a solicitation for demolition, construction, and outfitting/equipment procurement for the Counterterrorism Headquarters in Mogadishu, Somalia. The sources sought notice was 19AQMM23N0022. Place of performance: Construction Services will be performed in Mogadishu, Somalia Period of Performance: 18 months from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed Order of Magnitude: $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00 IAW FAR 36.204(g) Competition Procedures: Full and Open (unrestricted). Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: The synopsis will be posted for at least fifteen (15) days. On or after July 10, 2023, the Government plans to post the solicitation on http://sam.gov. No paper copies will be mailed. Once posted, offerors will have at least thirty (30) days to submit proposals. All dates are subject to change. The solication will detail the dates and times of pre-proposal conference and site visit which will be conducted for this requirement. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and ends on the date specified in Section L of the solicitation. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted to http://sam.gov. Only emails to register for the conference and site visit and to ask question before closing date for questions will be accepted. No other emails or phone calls will be accepted. Offerors shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform the required work in Somalia. Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
