The Bureau of Medical Services (MED), Medical Specialists Staff Office (MED/PD/MSSO) seeks to establish a comprehensive Virtual Reality Emergency Training (VRET) program consisting of a virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) training management system. The VRET program and use of VR/AR technologies, will enable the Bureau to enhance its overall operational training needs both domestically and overseas. This VRET program would also optimize MED’s training capabilities and ensure that overseas staff have access to training 24/7. The VRET will also help centralize training program planning and implementation, and standardize and optimize training metadata collection, evaluation, and management.
