THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENT. PARTICIPATION IN THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS VOLUNTARY. NO COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED. Overview The Department of State (DOS) has been moving steadily to the digital environment, and an electronic signature solution provides a secure and mobile way for DOS to conduct its business. Moving from a paper to a digital format offers several advantages, including simplifying workflows and preventing document loss. It also ensures better document control in a crisis minimizing staff travel, resulting in cost-savings for the Department. Background The increase in the remote workforce due to the COVID-19 pandemic has driven the urgent need for electronic signatures. Workflow in this remote environment requires business integrated electronic and digital signatures across cross-functional teams that require a cloud-based solution to implement these solutions. As multiple offices and bureaus are looking at various solutions, the Department has considered having an enterprise digital signature solution that will provide a more secure and consistent solution that offices can leverage. The Department requires a product that provides the capabilites as outlined in the attachment.
