The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine if there are two (2) or more capable U.S. Small Businesses that can provide the following brand name or equal products to be shipped to Dominican Republic: Product: Quantity of 10 ~ Ionscan 600 Non-rad Narcotics/Fentanyl Trade Detectors with Integrated Printers (Brand name or equal) - System Includes: Lithium-Ion Batteries Swab Multipack (5000 swabs,25 individual boxes of 200) Verification Pen CD-ROM of Operators Manual Thermal Printer Paper Sampling Wand 1 year Standard Depot Warranty OCONUS Operator training for up to 10 students. Course Material shall be in English and in Spanish. Capabilities statement shall be clear, concise, explicit and no more than two 8.5 X 11 inch pages limited to 12-point Times New Roman font. Companies Capability Statement must demonstrate knowledge, capability, and familiarity in providing similar products and also describe similar and/or relevant past performance (if applicable). Proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time. No solicitation (Request for Proposal) exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government’s discretion. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any Government assessments. The Government’s assessment of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside for small business, or any particular small business program.
