(See Attachments) This is a Department of State (DOS) Sources Sought only. Contractors are requested to read and respond to the below and attached requirement accordingly. The responses from this notice may be used as market research to determine an acquisition strategy for an anticipated competitive acquisition. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to survey the vendor community for potential sources who can provide the Bureau of Information Resource Management, Systems Integrity Division (IRM/FO/ITI/SI), with professional services, continued integration, and management of the Department’s Enterprise Systems Security (ES2) and Video Program Office (VPO) Programs. The ES2 program operates the Virus Incident Response Team (VIRT) which must respond rapidly to protect the network and the information being processed by its subscribers. ES2 requires technical and engineering support to ensure users of information systems are not impacted by malicious code, SPAM, and other disruptive cyber-attacks. ES2 is also responsible for maintaining the host-based intrusion detection system (HIDS), preclude lateral movement, support file reputation, and blocking mass storage devices. The VPO program provides the Department unclassified and classified video collaboration support using hardware and cloud-based services. VPO requires support through service platform planning, video collaboration systems engineering, installation and administration with daily operational and technical support to its domestic and overseas customers within the Department of State, under Chief of Mission authority, as well as direct support to the Secretary and other Senior Principals. The responses received (or lack thereof) in response to this notice may be used as a partial basis for the Contracting Officer’s determination as to the appropriateness or inappropriateness of a small business or other socio-economic set-aside under the subsequent solicitation (RFP).
