The order of magnitude of this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,00,000. The estimated period of performance is: 180 calendar days This acquisition will be issued under full and open procedures. The project consists of the renovation of four (4) buildings totalling approximately 20,000 square feet. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Royal Bahamian Police Academy site is located at Latitude N 25° 03’ 20.8”, Longitude W 077° 22’ 03.7”. The buildings are located in the suburbs. This synopsis provides notice of the Government's intent to issue a solicitation for Construction and Renovation Services at The Royal Bahamian Police Academy in Nassau, The Bahamas. Period of Performance: 210 days Order of Magnitude: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Competition Procedures: Full and Open (unrestricted). Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: The synopsis will be posted for at least fifteen (15) days. Once travel restrictions have been eased and travel to the site is feasible for the general public, the Government plans to post the solicitation on www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be mailed. Once posted, offerors will have approximately forty-five (45) days to submit proposals. All dates are subject to change. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and ends on the date specified in Section L of the solicitation. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted to www.fbo.gov. Only emails following the Q&A instructions in Section L of the solicitation will be accepted. No other emails or phone calls will be accepted. Offerors shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform the required work in The Bahamas. Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
