Synopsis Agency/Office: Office of Acquisitions Location: Acquisition Management Title: Department of State IT - Aetos, Department of State Subject: Sole Source contract award to IST Research Corp. Description: The Diplomatic Security (DS), Threat Investigations and Analysis (TIA), needs an industry partner to efficiently join broad and targeted social listening with tailored messaging, particularly to non-permissive environments and contested information spaces. This will allow the Department of State to accomplish its national security mission as congressionally mandated by 22 USC 2708 and as directed by the Secretary of State. A previous Sources Sought notice was solicited and evaluated and only one source was deemed responsible of providing the necessary services. Offerors may provide notice of their interest. IAW with FAR 5.203(a) and the recent Sources Sought notice and evaluation, the synopsis will be posted for fifteen (15) days. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541512. This requirement will be solicited under other than full and open competition.
