The Office of Acquisition Management (AQM) is conducting an acquisition for a twelve (12) month bridge contract to continue to the six (6) IDIQ contracts: SAQMMA15D0063 ; SAQMMA15D0064; SAQMMA15D0065; SAQMMA15D0066; SAQMMA15D0067 and SAQMMA15D0068 for the DOS GITM Printers on behalf of the Global Information Technology Modernization (GITM) program. The GITM Printer IDIQ contract holders currently provide approved and vetted printers, the associated software/licenses and warranties to DOS printing environment. The GITM program, along with other DOS offices, has an ongoing, repetitive need for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IT hardware that meets its core technical specifications. GITM serves more than 300 locations both domestically and overseas. These sites operate multiple data networks comprised of a myriad of IT hardware, which often includes printers. The Department’s current IDIQs reflect approved commercial IT printers from various contractors considered to be technically acceptable. While the new solution is being established through the appropriate contracting procedures, a bridge of these current contracts allows for repetitive purchases of specified supplies in a streamlined, prenegotiated manner, in order to facilitate the mission of the GITM Program and the DOS.
