Dear Prospective Vendors, The Embassy of The United States of America invites you to submit a quotation for new office furniture. Please review the attached file with technical specification, measurements and quantities, layout plan of location for new furniture, Clauses for Purchase Orders as well as NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) Certificate. Please read NDAA certificate, complete and send it to us. Supplier should has local representatives for delivery and installation of the office furniture. Please submit your quotations to BAKUBIDBOX@STATE.GOV and CC-ed BAKUBIDBOX@GMAIL.COM no later than 10:00 a.m. Baku time on July 31, 2023. No quotations will be accepted after the mentioned date and time. Award will be made to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price and feedback from technical evaluation panel. The offeror /quoter can provide the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources needed to perform the work. The U.S. Embassy intends to award the contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions if there is a need to do so. Invoice Payment: Payment will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR32.9 “Prompt Payment” within 30 calendar days after services provision and receiving of the proper invoice(s). This Request for Quotation (RFQ) does not commit the U.S. Embassy to make any award. The Embassy may cancel this RFQ or any part of it. FYI – we will request two types of insurance for this project. Please see below detailed information: DBA INSURANCE: Due to the State Department regulation the Offer or shall include Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance premium costs covering employees. The offeror may obtain DBA insurance directly from any Department of Labor approved providers at the DOL website at http://www.dol.gov/owcp/dlhwc/lscarrier.htm General Liability: Please be informed that estimate cost for General Liability (bodily injury as well as property damage) can be obtain from any local insurance companies. The estimate cost for Genera Liability should be included in your quotation as well as DBA insurance. The company who will be awarded for this project should provide the certificate for General Liability.
