The U.S. Embassy in Rome has issued a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming RFQ for fleet vehicle insurance covering U.S. Mission Italy vehicles in Rome, Naples, Florence, and Milan, with approximately 130 vehicles insured per year. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price with a base year and one Government-exercised option year, and award may be made based on the initial offer without discussion. Interested firms must provide a written letter of interest and application documentation, including firm contact/address details and proof of IVASS/RUI registration, to receive the solicitation package, which will not be posted on SAM.gov. Offerors must possess authorization to operate and do business in Italy and must be registered in SAM prior to submitting an offer. A pre-quotation conference is planned, and electronic responses are allowed subject to a 25MB email size limit.
