The Embassy of the United States in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation shall cover the installation of an interior staircase to connect two apartments located in the city of Rome, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as required in the contract. This project is estimated at between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type purchase order. The Government is planning a pre-quotation site visit, and the date will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of their quotation. Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
