The solicitation is to install new wooden floor and replace baseboard in the Mel Sembler Building, located on the U.S. Embassy compound, in Rome, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as required in the contract. This project is estimated at between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type purchase order. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and site visit and the date will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
