The Embassy of the United States in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation covers the replacement of the pedestrian roof floors, including screeds, insulation, and waterproofing works at the U.S. Consulate Building in Naples, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to accomplish the work in this contract. This project is estimated at between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and a site visit and the date for this conference and site visit will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposal.
