The solicitation covers the modification of the existing ramp to reach the main entrance of the BCC building, located within the U.S. Embassy compound in Rome, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as required in the contract. This project is estimated at between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type purchase order. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and site visit and the date will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
