The U.S. Tri-Mission in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation covers the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services at the U.S. Consulate compound in Florence, Italy. Total estimate number of buildings to be serviced per year: 2. The anticipated performance is for one base period, with four one-year periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals.
