INL Honduras requires the purchase of plate carriers and accessories for the members of the Honduran National Police (HNP), Comando de Operaciones Especiales (COE) Unit. This purchase will increase the unit’s capacity to conduct counternarcotic and transnational crime missions as well as capture extraditable individuals to combat criminal organizations disrupt narcotrafficking activities throughout Honduras. The plate carriers and accessories are necessary to provide adequate protection and safety to the COE members while conducting high risk missions as part of their daily functions. This support will assist both the United States and Honduran Governments’ efforts towards confronting criminal activity and illegal trafficking expeditiously.
