This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the US State Department's intent to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order with Safe Boats International, LLC located at 8800 SW BARNEY WHITE RD; BREMERTON, WA 98312-4921 for the purpose of offshore law enforcement patrolling in the Bahamas. The Government intends to purchase the following units and quantities: * (4) 27 Foot Full Cabin Patrol Boats with Dual Mercury 250HP - Verado V8 4-Stroke Outboard Engine * (4) Boat Trailers for 27 Foot Patrol Boats * (4) Operator Mauals * (1) Week of Operator and Maintenance Training for 10 individuals * Shipment to Nassau, Bahamas of (4) 27 Foot Full Cabin Patrol Boats and (4) Boat Trailers for 27 Foot Patrol Boats The Government intends to negotiate solely with Safe Boats International, LLC as per FAR Subpart 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336612, with a size standard of 1000 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received by 12 November 2021 5:00 PM Eastern Time will be considered.
