The U.S. Consulate General in Kolkata, India is procuring replacement of the fire detection/alarm system at the American Center in Kolkata situated in the state of West Bengal, India by a qualified company specializing in that work. The American Center is a seven-story office building with basement. Currently a system is installed in the building, which is to be replaced. The scope of the project is a one-for-one replacement of devices (detectors, pull stations, annunciators, etc.) using the existing infrastructure (i.e. conductors, etc.) along with a complete replacement of the main panel with an addressable primary panel and secondary panel. The complete detail of the project is provided in Section-B of the Solicitation document. The Contractor shall be required to commence work under this contract within 15 calendar days after the date of notice to proceed (NTP) following the award and complete the entire work ready for use no later than 60 calendar days after NTP. The bidder shall furnish all the information as required in the solicitation document.
