The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for Maintenance of Bollards and Gates services at its Chancery in Wassenaar, The Netherlands. The Contractor shall provide personnel, supplies and equipment, as identified in this solicitation and Exhibit I, for all building maintenance services at The US Embassy in Wassenaar in The Netherlands as described in Section C, DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT, of this contract and exhibits attached in Section J. This contract is for technical services only. This request precludes the requirement for the contractor to purchase materials or equipment for the Bollards and Gates including, but not limited to, such items as control components, equipment replacements, cabling, software and computers or related elements. Provisions for such items, if they are deemed to be required, must be coordinated through the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) where actions will be taken, through other contracting mechanisms, to acquire these components. The U.S. Government intends to award a One (1) year contract with One (1) year Option to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable proposal, with the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
