The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at U.S Mission The Hague in the Netherlands, which includes the U.S. Embassy main building and annex buildings and one (1) additional office outside the Embassy compound. The additional office is the US Consulate building located in Amsterdam. The actual addresses will be provided at the time of contract award. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators and stairways. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with four one-year options The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel that are necessary to accomplish the work in this contract. The requirement is for Janitorial services for the U.S. Embassy The Hague, Netherlands. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
