The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) will host a virtual Industry Day on April 4, 2023. Through this virtual Industry Day, DOL seeks to collaborate with contractors and expand the pool of vendors able to support the BLS with their upcoming National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 2026 (NLSY26) procurement. Vendors will have an opportunity to learn about the background of NLSY and its high-level requirements, as well as participate in a discussion of BLS goals and challenges. Specific tasks for the procurement will include, but will not be limited to: Survey design; Sampling; Screening; Questionnaire design; Field testing; and The collection and processing of Round 1 survey data. This one-day event will consist of presentations that will be followed by discussions with audience participation. This event is free of charge to all participants. All briefings and discussions will be conducted at the unclassified level.
