This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research on nationwide Directed Medical Services to support workers' compensation claims adjudication. The Department of Labor is seeking to understand industry capabilities for a potential single contract to manage a nationwide consortium of medical specialists. Interested vendors can register for one-hour One-on-One virtual sessions to be held between April 8 and April 13, 2026. Registration is open from March 26 through April 6, 2026, and is limited to the first 15 respondents. The sessions will discuss a draft Performance Work Statement and a set of provided questions.

The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs seeks a contractor to provide a nationwide medical provider network and medical bill processing services for covered workers. The contractor must process and pay bills from both network and non-network providers and then bill the government for payable amounts. Specific fees for bill processing and provider reimbursement rates are detailed in Section 6.1.1 of the Performance Work Statement. The work is for a non-IT commercial services contract and performance is required nationwide. All objectives and constraints are common across the OWCP programs unless otherwise specified in the PWS.
