The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified HUBZone Small Business for the construction services for the project: Roof Replacement located at the Turner Job Corps Center at 2000 Schilling Avenue, Albany, Georgia 31705. The work consists of construction services including all equipment, materials, and labor required to remove and replace the existing roofs on the Building 2007 Library and Building 7160 Culinary Arts/Community Relations. The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of the existing built-up roof and insulation down to metal deck and the installation of a new modified bitumen SBS membrane system complete with new tapered rigid insulation. The built-up roof area on Building 2007 Library is approximately 7,620 SF and Building 7160 Culinary Arts/Community Relations Building is approximately 15,800 SF. Also included in the scope is the removal of abandoned rooftop mechanical units on Building 7160 and removal and replacement of the gutters and downspouts at each building. All work to be accomplished in accordance with The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) recommendations. Who May Respond Interest in this pre-solicitation announcement is open to all HUBZone small businesses relative to the primary NAICS code 238160 with a Small Business Standard of $15 million. The estimated construction value of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 All interested firms must be registered via the System for Award Management (SAM) Please keep in mind that this is a Presolicitation Notice notifying all interested parties that a solicitation will be issued for this project. No submittals are required for this notice. Submittals for this project will only be accepted under the solicitation once it’s published. The solicitation for this project will be posted on or about February 25, 2020. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled for this requirement; details regarding the conference will be outlined in the solicitation along with the date. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS REQUIREMENT BEFORE AN AWARD IS MADE WITH NO OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
