PROJECT DESCRIPTION The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Job Corps, seeks the services of a qualified small business firm to for the Miscellaneous Repairs at the Mississippi Job Corps Center's facilities. The work includes services for construction for the repairs in several buildings noted below at the Mississippi Job Corps Center. The work includes, but is not limited to, repair and restoration of specific items and areas in the following buildings: • Education Building 14, • Gymnasium Building 17, • Construction Trades Building 27, • Cafeteria Building 67 ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION VALUE $250,000 to $500,000 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE NTP to Substantial Completion: 104 calendar days NTP to Contract Completion: 134 calendar days EVALUATION FACTORS 1. Prime Vendor's Experience/Past Performance The sub evaluation factors are as follows: 1. Previous Project Experience Similar to this Project’s Size and Scope (At least 3 projects within the last 5 years). Provide location and the project (City, State), the project value, and a brief and concise description of the project scope. 2. Prime Vendor’s Project Superintendent Experience of Projects of Similar Size and Scope (At least 3 projects within the last 5 years). 3. Safety Prime Vendor's OSHA certification credentials. BID GUARANTEE A 20% bid guarantee is required for this project. Original bid bonds must be received by the proposal due date or the proposal will be considered nonresponsive. Bid bonds shall be sent to the address on page 1 of the solicitation in Block 7. They should be sent to the attention of Bryan Ramso. Proposals can be sent via email to ramso.bryan@dol.gov and must be received by 2:00 pm Eastern Time on May 12, 2020 in order for them to be accepted.
