The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps, has a requirement for the acquisition, delivery and installation of dormitory furniture at the Cassadaga, Earle C. Clements, Potomac, Montgomery, Clearfield, Gary, Excelsior Springs and the Los Angeles Job Corps Centers. The work will require the procurement, delivery, and installation of dormitory room furniture (i.e. single bed, bunk bed, dresser, desk, chairs and wardrobes). The procurement and installation of dormitory lounge furniture (i.e. sofa, love seat, lounge chairs, poly chairs, wood chairs, and coffee, end and recreation tables) are also requirements of the services to be performed. This service will be performed under an accelerated schedule of delivery. Firms interested in this requirement are requested to submit a statement of interest. Responses are due on Friday, February 7, 2020 by 2:00PM EDT, and shall be submitted via e-mail to: garnett.eileen@dol.gov (Eileen Garnett, Contract Specialist). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 10.001(a) (3) (i), this notice is issued for the purpose of market research. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are potential SMALL BUSINESSES with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. This Notice is not to be misconstrued as an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposal. The information received will be used to determine whether to issue the proposed solicitation as a competitive set-aside or full and open competition (unrestricted). The extent of the work will be described in the statement of work, which will follow at a later date. Firms listed under the GSA Schedule should include its contract information in the response to this Notice. Firms shall also note its status as a small business concern. Based on the various locations, the Government will consider single or multiple awards.
