THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 5.203. A SOLICITATION IS ANTICIPATED AND FORTHCOMING. NO RESPONSES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS NOTICE. THE OFFICIAL SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO SAM.GOV UNDER A SEPARATE COVER. The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Board-certified physicians to perform District Medical Advisor (DMA) case file reviews for the purposes of reviewing medical records and assigning a permanent impairment rating using the AMA’s Guides for the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (the Guides) in support of the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP). The contractor shall provide Board-certified medical specialists to conduct DMA file reviews for OWCP-covered workers with services to include initial reports, and, if necessary, follow-up reports and supplemental reports. The RFP will be posted on SAM.gov approximately 15-30 days after publication of this notice. The RFP will be not be restricted and is open to all eligible vendors. The anticipated contract will be a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Potential offerors will be responsible for obtaining the solicitation and related amendments, if any, from SAM.gov after the solicitation is posted. The Government will not maintain a mailing list. All questions must be submitted in writing and will be addressed in the forthcoming solicitation.
