Sources Sought No. 1605AE-21-N-00011 – Construction of a Recreation Building at the North Texas Job Corps Center, McKinney, Texas The US Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps Acquisition Services, has a requirement for a qualified firm to provide construction services at the North Texas Job Corps Center, McKinney, Texas 75069. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b) (2) (I) this notice is issued for the purpose of conducting market research. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are potential small businesses with the capacity and experience to perform the required work. This Notice is not to be misconstrued as an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal. . There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred. The full extent of the work will be described in the solicitation, which may follow at a later date. However, a summary of the services to be performed is provided as follows, The project has a requirement for a qualified contractor to provide construction services including all equipment, materials, and labor for the construction of a Gymnasium/Recreation Center at the North Texas Job Corps campus, McKinney, Texas 75069. Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a Gymnasium/Recreation Building; demolition of an existing gymnasium, recreation center and two mobile classrooms. Also included in the work are abatement of hazardous materials; miscellaneous site improvements in the form of general landscaping, storm drainage, connectivity to utility lines and site/security lighting. The estimated price range for construction is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000.000.00. Companies interested in this requirement are required to submit a statement of qualifications. Your statement of qualifications shall demonstrate the capacity of your firm to perform the services described above, and should include the following information: Projects performed that are similar in scope and value to the work required under this project. Include two or more projects where your company has provided construction services, demolition services, abatement of hazardous materials, miscellaneous site improvements, general landscaping, storm drainage and connectivity to utility lines and site/security lighting. Three or more project examples where construction services were performed by your company that involved services for demolition services, hazardous material abatement, miscellaneous site improvement, landscaping, storm drainage, connectivity to utility poles lines, and site site/security lighting. Projects performed within the last five years that demonstrate your teams experience with storm water drainage systems. 3. Your project examples shall include the location of the project owner, a brief description of the services performed. Your synopsis should also include the date of contract award, the original and final date of contract completion. Using previous project examples, indicate the original contract price and final contract value. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to 1) provide services consistent scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipate; and 2) secure and apply the full range of cooperate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements.
