The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice as required by FAR 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of the Request for Quote (RFQ) at a later date. On or about March 22, 2024, the Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), Customer Acquisition Services (CAS), anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Radio Upgrade and Installation for the Security Center (SEC). The government contemplates a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract with a period of performance consisting of one (1) 3-month base period. The requirement for Radio Upgrade and Installation shall be competed utilizing Full and Open Competition with 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Contractors. Prospective offerors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. The NAICS code for this requirement is 517121 Telecommunications Resellers, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) for the requirement is 5820. Contractors shall not directly contact the Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity to submit relevant questions.
