The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina intends to award a government purchase order to the vendor/contractor who can provide the most cost effective means in obtaining four industrial steam dryers for the Laundry Department. The Federal Correctional Complex is requesting Unimac 120 LB capacity steam dryers with 480/3phase voltage with unilinc controls with reversing basket with opti-dry. The contractor shall install the four dryers at FCC Butner. The FCC Butner is requesting model number UT120NDNORQA3W0000. When offering your proposal, please include all details regarding installation costs and any information on warranties. (See attached Request for Quotation). Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex, Old NC Highway 75, Butner, North Carolina 27509, Attn: Justin Burroughs. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The contracting official intends to make this award on an all or none basis. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with price considered equally. All responsible business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 16, 2021, and will be posted here to the beta.SAM.gov website: http://beta.sam.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due Friday, August 23, 2021 by 4:00 pm EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Quoters should include their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in their offer. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAMS) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees’ DUNS number into the SAMS database. Failure to complete this registration procedure outlined in this solicitation, may result in elimination from consideration for award. You should check to see if your registration is still valid and has not expired. If it has expired, you need to update it to where it shows active again or this could be grounds for elimination from consideration for award.
