The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Finance and Facilities Divison has a requirement to establish an Agency wide contract vehicle for the procurement of Vehicle Weapon Lock Boxes. The consolidated effort is intended to be solicited as a small business set-aside. This consolidation is in the best interest of the Government and advocates for small business. This consolidation meets the requirements of FAR 7.107 and the benefits of the consolidated acquisition would substantially exceed the benefits that would be derived from an alternative approach. Therefore, the Government found that consolidation is necessary and justified and shall be available for at least seven days prior to the release of the solicitation for this requirement. The solicitation is anticipated for release on or around 25 July 2024.
