The US Marshals Service is looking to obtain potential sources from interested parties who can potentially meet the following: Potential QTY 73 Units NAICS 541330 Engineering Services 1. Field radio receivers that are concealable on the person and be, optionally, remotely operated with a commercially available of-the-shelf (COTS) cellular device. 2. Control of the receiver, configuration inputs, and notifications from the receiver should be accomplished from both the receiver interface or via the remote controller. 3. Notifications must be visible, audible, and/or silent (via vibrations) as defined by the user. 4. The system must operate in and include all compatible peripheral devices to receive cellular signals in both the uplink and the downlink for FDD cellular bands and full band support for TDD cellular bands between RF frequencies 600 MHz and 4.2 GHz. a) Quick, one button reconfiguration from a high gain mode to a low gain mode to more accurately discern actual target UE location/proximity, b) Flexible tuning of the receiver to specified frequencies using cellular FDD uplink/downlink and TDD channel numerology or specified frequency. c) Body worn and concealable, band specific, soft panel antennae to be used in conjunction with the concept of using the user’s body as a directional attenuator to more quickly and accurately define directionality and proximity of a target user equipement (UE). d) Silent operation accomplished via increased/decreased vibration amplitude and frequency in phase with the received signal amplitude from the device or remote controller. e) Enhanced silent operation via increased/decreased earbud tone frequency in phase with the received signal amplitude from the device or remote controller. Technical questions as well as interested vendors may contact the Contract Specialist Greg Lombardozzi, by email.
