The Description of the Requirement remains unchanged. This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of Fresenius 2008T hemodialysis systems for the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) located in Springfield, Missouri. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be a single source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 334510-Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a Small Business Administration size standard of 1250 employees. Description of Requirement: 2008T hemodialysis system with Clinical Data Exchange - -Fresenius USA (FUSA) shall supply six (6) 2008T hemodialysis systems to USMCFP Springfield. -Each 2008T system shall include one (1) Acid/Vinegar Jug. -FUSA shall also provide one (1) 2008T Operators Manual. -FUSA shall dispose of existing 2008K or 2008T machines on a one-to-one ratio with the purchase of new 2008T machines within 60 days of new equipment purchase. -Installation fee for new equipment shall be waived. -FUSA shall warranty parts and labor for twelve (12) months from the date of installation.
