USMS is currently requesting capable and credible sources who can meet program office requirements to the following commodities: The BRONTE3D transceiver is a tri-brand radio that operates on licensed federal law enforcement bands within the ACRx (Adaptive Central Receive) infrastructure. The ACRx is a wide-area video surveillance network that is supplied solely by JANTEQ in support to coverage for 56 US cities where DOJ agencies reside. This system works on a proprietary network protocol that recognizes, configures and adapts JANTEQ wireless equipment (i.e. BRONTE) located throughout select AOR’s where our system is operating. The hardware (i.e. BRONTE) and control software (NMS) operate together to create a private, reliable, secure and highly-adaptive network for DOJ missions. The Bronte is a product that was designed by JANTEQ, with specific input from DOJ components, for use in the 56 City AWS/ACR project. They are the Sole Producer and seller of Bronte.
