The Federal Prison Industries (FPI) intends to award multiple Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Architect and Engineer (A&E) services covering new construction, renovation, alteration, and repair projects. Work will be performed at FPI facilities within the contiguous United States. The contract will have a one-year base period with options for four additional one-year periods. Services include design and construction document preparation, cost estimating, value engineering, scheduling, dispute resolution, and construction administration. Award will be based solely on proposed hourly rates, overhead, and profit, and may be made without discussions.
