The contractor will supply and install a digital license plate printing system using either inkjet UV-curable or thermal transfer technology, capable of printing process color graphics and variable data on reflective license plate sheeting at selectable resolutions of 600 dpi or higher. The system must include integrated software for database management, RIP processing, print management, and role-based security, with all functionality working in a closed network without external connectivity. Delivery includes hardware/software installation, testing, and calibration, plus onsite operator training at the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland. An option for additional training days is available within 6 months of initial installation. The proposal must also detail warranty, customer support, and all included accessories with no additional cost.
