8(a) Set-Aside (FAR 19.8)

This is a Firm Fixed Price construction contract for a roof and HVAC replacement project at the Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) facility located within FMC Lexington at 3301 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY. The scope includes replacing approximately 66,000 square feet of roofing, installing new HVAC systems and ductwork, masonry and concrete repairs, and asbestos abatement. The project must be completed within 265 days of the notice to proceed. The solicitation is set aside for competitive 8(a) Business Development Program participants. A mandatory site visit is scheduled, with advance attendee information due by Tuesday, March 17, 2026, and written questions for the solicitation will not be accepted after Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
