UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, intends to award a two-year firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, set aside 100% for small business, for 55,705 lbs of 3105-H18 aluminum roll (12” x 6800’ x .022”) with a light, chrome-free conversion coating per ASTM B-921-02 Class 2 and specified coil dimensions/packaging. The guaranteed contract minimum and minimum delivery order are each $4,397, and delivery is FOB Destination to UNICOR, 14601 Burbridge Rd, Cumberland, MD 21502. The Buy American Act applies, so foreign-manufactured or foreign-rolled material may be offered but will face pricing penalties. Evaluation will consider technical specifications, price, past performance, and delivery time, with technical and past performance combined rated more important than price.
