It is the intent of this solicitation to result in a Firm Fixed Price, Construction Type Contract for a project at the US Army Aberdeen Test Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business with competition limited to firms located within the geographical area with a bona fide place of business in the State of Maryland. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The mission objective is to replace above ground fiber with underground fiber conduit in order to better facilitate testing with new infrastructure. The fiber conduit will be run to the location of a new range support building where testing will be conducted from, and data will be collected. The contractor shall directionally bore and place approximately 1015 LF (2) 4” HDPE SDR 13.5 conduits with all necessary 90° elbows, ¼” pull line and stainless-steel copper coated tracer wire.
