The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Talladega, intends to issue a solicitation RFQP03131900016 for the requirements of: services for the professional design (if applicable), labor, materials and equipment necessary for removing and replacing two (2) Vehicle Slide Gates and controls and two (2) Pedestrian electric locking gates. The contractor shall furnish and install all accessories needed to replace our current gate systems in accordance with the Statement of Work to include all required parts to replace as is. This procurement is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the size standard is $15 million. The performance period for the project will not exceed 180 days from start to finish. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offer whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, price being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 8, 2019 and will be posted to the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
