The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services to be rendered to federal offenders housed at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and satellite prison camp located in Greenville, Illinois. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided include Inpatient/Outpatient Facility Services, Inpatient/Outpatient Physician Services, and Outpatient Institution (On-Site Physician) Services. The anticipated contract type is indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base and four-one year option periods, if exercised, are as follows: [Base Year and Option Year One] estimated 150 inpatient days and 720 outpatient visits; Option Year Two and Three - estimated 158 inpatient days and 756 outpatient visits; and Option Year Four - estimated 166 inpatient days and 794 outpatient visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about May 1, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation.
