This is not a reques... Sources Sought Notice FMC Rochester (RFP-15B41219R00000002) This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice for planning purpose only. There is no solicitation at this time. This is not a request for proposals nor a pre-solicitation announcement. This Sources Sought is for notification purposes that the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Field Acquisition Office (FAO), located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to negotiate with only one source for comprehensive medical services. The medical services are for the inmate population housed at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), located in Rochester, Minnesota. Historical Information: Historically, the Mayo Clinic located at 200 First Street Rochester Minnesota, has been the single source provider for said services. In accordance to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 the Mayo Clinic has been the only responsible source and no other firms to the Government’s knowledge are capable of providing the services that will satisfy agency’s requirement for the provision of comprehensive medical services under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253 (c)(1). Sources Sought Information: Through this sources sought the FBOP seeks a brief capability statement from interested qualified sources. The contract services shall consist of twelve months, a base period and four 12 month options for renewal, if exercised. The estimated quantities for services for a base period and each option are follows: Inpatient Days: estimated 599 days; Outpatient Visits: estimated 2,314 visits Inpatient Facility Services Outpatient Facility Services Inpatient Physician Services Outpatient Physician Services Outpatient Institution Services. The contract type will be a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements type contract under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 622110. This Sources Sought Notice is a means of conducting market research to identify interested parties capable of providing comprehensive medical services to the FMC. The result of this notice will assist in the determination of the appropriate procurement methods. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this anticipated procurement action based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information Requested from Industry: The Government is requesting only capability information that will be utilized as market research to solicit the anticipated requirement. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and show that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Firms that are interested and capable of performing the services outlined above are required to provide a response with no more than three (3) pages identifying your capability to provide said services in the Rochester, MN. Respondents are advised that no feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding their capabilities submissions. Any information and material submitted in response to this notice will not be returned. Do not provide any proprietary, confidential or sensitive information in response to this Notice. This request is for market research purposes only and is issued to assist the FBOP in determining capable contractors who can provide the required services. Information provided in response to this Notice announcement will not be considered an offer by interested firms and shall not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Response to this notice is due via email on or before the deadline of October 5, 2020, 2:00 PM CT. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered. If no responses are received the Government may proceed with the sole source acquisition to Mayo Clinic.
